About the Course:

General English course is designed for students to build a solid language foundation, improve 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing and communication skill in the workplace and economic life.

- The curriculum and course design:
- Duration: 100h /level.
- The General English course is taught by Jolo Straightforward curriculum published by Macmillan. When using this curriculum, students will be given a code to access online learning tools.
- Smart Online Learning Tools with helpful resource, free dictionary. Students can submit homework, getting scores, comment and have their learning outcome be evaluated by our teaching staffs via email.
- The curriculum is designed to cover 12 topics per level; each topic is designed with 4 lessons. The book for students will have a lot of functional languages, writing skills, grammar notes, as well as vocabulary table.
- The curriculum from Beginner to Advanced level will be corresponded to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

The Courses:

- Beginner: Beginner courses provide students with the basic vocabulary, common sentence patterns in order to communicate and start conversation naturally. The aim is to after the end of the course; students will be able to use the English language in accordance with the CEFR level A1.

- Elementary: Elementary School CEFR A2-equivalent, focus on grammars and help students to become more flexible in communication than the Beginner level.

- Pre-Intermediate: Pre-course equivalent Inter-B1 CEFR, focus on creating an independent mindset for the students, thus allows the student to use English independently. Furthermore, by interacting continuously with common topics on an IELTS test such as: the offices, schools, tourism, etc... Can give the students a certain amount of knowledge in these fields. Therefore, the student can explain or give out their idea clearly.

- Intermediate and Upper Intermediate: Course Intermediate and Course Upper Intermediate equivalent Grade B1 + and B2. At this level, the students already have their basics grammar basics qualified with firm knowledge and a rich pool vocabulary in life or in their field work. Students can use a flexible form sentences, varied and appropriate circumstances.

- Advanced: Advance Course with C1-CEFR standard for language proficiency. All students at this level need to have a clear understanding of the command, lengthy documents with high complexity.
